The apartment offers bright, spacious interiors, a generous south-facing terrace and views towards the Mediterranean Sea. It is sold fully furnished, including a coordinated furniture package carefully selected by an interior designer to complement the property's contemporary architecture and finishes. The stylish furnishings and attention to detail create an elegant, welcoming home that is ready to enjoy from day one. The spacious open-plan living and dining area features floor-to-ceiling windows that maximise natural light and provide direct access to the terrace. The modern kitchen is fully equipped with premium-quality appliances, sleek cabinetry and generous storage, making it equally suited to everyday living and entertaining. Both double bedrooms have fitted wardrobes and private en-suite bathrooms, providing comfort and privacy for owners and guests alike. A separate guest WC adds further convenience. The covered, south-facing terrace effectively extends the living space outdoors, providing an ideal setting for dining, entertaining or relaxing throughout the year. Its private plunge pool is a particularly desirable feature, offering the convenience of a pool just steps from the living room. With ample space for outdoor furniture, the terrace is perfectly suited to enjoying the Costa del Sol's Mediterranean climate. The property also includes a private underground parking space and a separate storage room, both included in the sale. **Exclusive Residential Facilities and Resort Setting** Santa Barbara Heights is a secure, gated residential development distinguished by its modern architecture, beautifully landscaped gardens and well-maintained communal areas. Residents benefit from outdoor swimming pools, a heated swimming pool during the winter months and a fully equipped gym. The development forms part of an established and well-known Costa del Sol resort, offering the convenience of several restaurants and bars within walking distance while maintaining the privacy and independence of a residential apartment. This combination of resort amenities and private residential living is particularly appealing for both personal holidays and guest accommodation. Ideally positioned between Fuengirola and La Cala de Mijas, the property is within easy reach of beaches, golf courses, restaurants, shopping and Málaga Airport. A Luxury Holiday Home with Rental Income Potential An important advantage of this apartment is the flexibility to enjoy it as a private holiday home while generating rental income during periods when it is not being used. Santa Barbara Heights has an established holiday rental environment, and tourist rentals were formally approved at the community's 2025 Annual General Meeting. This is an increasingly valuable consideration as some residential communities across the Costa del Sol introduce restrictions on short-term letting. The apartment already holds an Andalusian tourist accommodation registration and has operated successfully as a holiday rental for several years, with a demonstrable history of bookings, occupancy and rental income. Existing tourist registrations may be transferred to a new holder through the Junta de Andalucía's formal procedure, subject to applicable legal requirements. This makes the apartment particularly appealing to ‌buyers ‌seeking ‌a ‌second home ‌that ‌can help offset ‌its ‌ownership costs, those ‌considering relocating ‌to ‌Spain in the ‌future, or purchasers ‌interested ‌in ‌an ‌established ‌holiday ‌rental ‌investment.
